本社成立于1995年2月18日,是一家综合性的大学出版社,以出版学术类图书和高校教材为主，截至2007年底，已累计出版新书1400种。我们一贯倡导精品意识，注重学术品位，倾情教育事业，已经在人文科学、社会科学、计算机、外语出版方面形成特色。如汉语言文字研究、“唐诗研究系列”、徽学研究等在相应专业领域便影响颇著。先后有《刘文典全集》、《唐刺史考全编》、《明代徽州方氏亲友手札七百通考释》和《李商隐传论》分获安徽图书奖一等奖，《出土夷族史料辑考》于2008年获首届中国出版政府奖提名奖。
本社重视国际合作与交流，已与境外出版社初步建立了版权贸易关系。其中，1999年输出台湾文津出版社的《唐诗风貌》、2002年引进英国剑桥大学出版社的《计算机视觉中的多视图几何》受到有关方面的关注和好评。
自2003年始，本社在中小学素质教育领域努力开拓，并初步赢得了社会的认同。
全社现有职工50人，下设总编室、办公室、财务部、档案资料室、编辑一部、编辑二部、审读室、出版部、发行部9个部门。
Established on February 18, 1995, Anhui University Press is a comprehensive university press focusing on the publication of academic works and university textbooks. Up to the end of 2007, it has published 1400 categories of new books. Advocating the consciousness of elite, laying stress on high academic quality, and dedicated to the educational cause of the country, Anhui University Press has formed special features in the publication of books in disciplines of humanities, social sciences, computer science and foreign languages. The publication of the studies of Chinese Language and Characters, Tang Poetry and that of the Hui Culture has had great influence in related fields. Complete Works of Liu Wendian, Governors of the Tang Dynasty, Notes on the Letters of the Fang Family of Huizhou Prefecture in the Ming Dynasty and On Li Shangyin have won first prizes of “Anhui Book Prize”, and Unearthed Historical Records of Ancient Tribes was nominated for First Government Book Prize in 2008.
The university press lays great emphasis on international cooperation and exchange and has established copyright and trade relationships with a fair number of publishing houses abroad. Among the activities of cooperation, the export of The Tang Poetry in 1999 by the Wenjin Press of Taiwan and the import of Multiple View Geometry in Computer Vision by Cambridge University Press of England have attracted due attention and favourable comments.
From 2003, the Press has been trying its hand in the field of quality education of high school and primary school pupils and has made desired achievements.
The Press now boasts 50 personnel with nine departments as the Office of Editor-in-Chief, Office of Administration, Accounting Department, Archives and References Department, Editorial Department I, Editorial Department II, Proofreading Room, Publication Department and Distribution Department. |
