中国财政经济出版社成立于1956年8月4日，直属中华人民共和国财政部，是国家新闻出版总署评定的“良好出版社”。
建社50年来，中国财政经济出版社始终坚持正确的舆论导向和鲜明的出版特色，努力为经济建设和财政工作服务，积极宣传党和国家的财经方针政策，致力于传播和积累财经理论与知识，繁荣和促进财经教育、科研等各项事业，取得了良好的社会效益和经济效益。现已发展成为以图书出版为主，图书、期刊、电子、音像产品齐全的大型财经专业出版组织，每年出版品种1300多种，出版码洋近4亿元。出版范围涵盖政治经济学、西方经济学、世界经济、财政、税务、金融、国际贸易、投资经济、劳动经济、会计、统计、企业管理等经济学科，凝聚了一大批高水平的作者，出版了大量学术专著、法规准则、考试用书、大中专院校教材以及培训用书，其中财政、会计类出版物尤具特色。已有数百种图书在各类国家级和省部级评选中获奖，在社会上享有极高的认知度，在社会各界专家学者、财经工作者、大中专院校师生等广大读者心目中树立了良好的声誉。改革开放以来，与世界银行、国际货币基金组织、世界贸易组织、联合国等国际组织以及许多著名国际出版机构保持着良好的合作关系，版权贸易活跃，引进出版了一批国外优秀出版物。

A Brief Introduction
China Financial & Economic Publishing House (CFEPH), one of the “Good Publishing House” honored by China’s General Administration of Press and Publication, was established on 4 August 1956 under the auspices of the Ministry of Finance, People’s Republic of China.
In its history of 50 years in existence, CFEPH has always ensured providing the right views of public opinion in the most high-quality publishing traits; making great efforts and taking wide strides in serving and promoting China’s economic construction and financial work; actively publicizing the financial and economic policies of our party and our government; contributing to disseminating and accumulating invaluable financial theories and information; devoting itself to the prosperity of financial and economic education and academic research; and, thereby, achieving favorable social and economic benefits. With more than 1,300 types of publications and about RMB 400 million production values P.A., CFEPH has now become a large and highly professional publishing company, in the field of finance and economics, expanding its business scope from just conventional book publishing to a far broader level of publishing, including books, periodicals, electronic publications, and audio/video products. The system covers such a wide variety of subjects on economics, as plutonomy, western economics, world economics, fiscal topics, taxation, finance, international trade, investments, labor economics, accounting, statistics, and corporate management. With a large number of highly-talented authors, CFEPH has published many academic works, laws and regulations books, examination books, teaching and training materials for college-level institutes, among which finance and accounting-related publications enjoy an especially high prestige. Hundreds of CFEPH’s books which were awarded renown state-level or province-level prizes, have enjoyed high recognition and esteem among specialists, finance and economics experts and authorities, college faculty and students. Since China implemented reform and the opening-up policy, CFEPH has been keeping and fostering good relationship with the World Bank, IMF, WTO, UN as well as with other world-known international publishing organizations, actively working in copyright trade, and publishing many outstanding foreign publications.
